In just a few minutes' walk you can reach the green outskirts of Bolzano, with its special promenads and themed paths. The hustle of the city centre is quickly forgotten here, surrounded by alpine and mediterranean flora and fauna. The most famous promenades, the Oswald or Guntschna Promenade, were built in the 19th century on a small hill and offer a special view over the city centre.
